Hey journal, it's been a while. For some reason, when I woke up this morning I felt alright, and as the day continued I just got more and more happy for some reason! I was able to talk to both of my parents about the car test situation while remaining relatively okay emotionally (plus I now have a study buddy for the test omg), I got really positive input about my tarot reading from Flight Rising folks, I got most of my college-y things out of the way so I don't need to worry about them, I made some cool-looking icons here (and might be doing more), I randomly found some stuff I've been looking for since I moved rooms and boxed everything up... overall it's been a really good, happy day! Hi everyone, I'm here to vent, because that's what journals are good for. ( shaking and crying below the cut )

Hey dudes, been a while since I've dropped in here. Anyhow, quick update on ~life~.

Today has been a pretty good day so far! This morning I was able to skip the one class I wasn't looking forward to (gym -- because cramps), and instead of waffling around doing nothing I got my internship papers finalized. So I have an internship now! Yay! It's pretty exciting, especially considering A. it's in a field I'm somewhat interested in (video game coding/development/illustration/etc.), and B. the staff are willing to call me by my actual name! Not the one on my birth certificate! THIS IS SIGNIFICANT. And it makes me smile like an idiot when someone calls me by my name, haha.

Urm... I performed a monologue today, Aaron's "I'm a terrible person" bit from Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, It went alright, especially considering I barely practiced anything past the actual words of the monologue -- most of the acting was made up on the spot. Normally I kind of suck at improv, and it wasn't a GREAT performance by any means, but it was a passing grade. I hope. We don't actually find out how we did until Thursday.

In other artsy-fartsy news, my bedroom is still in stages of development; we've gotten to the electricity now. With any luck, I'll be able to settle back in with my tablet and piano and practice again, for the first time in... going on a month now, oh god. I really need to do piano, especially, because my teacher is going to be really disappointed if I don't -- and I hate disappointing her, she's too kawaii for that.

And finally, there is promise of corn muffins today. And sausage, which I'm presently cooking. Mmm.
